A Message from Dr. Sunder About Your Continued Care

July 1, 2026

To All of My Valued Patients and Friends,

After more than 50 years of providing cardiac care to the communities of Antelope Valley and Kern County, the time has come for me to retire from clinical practice.

Since 1975, I have had the privilege of caring for you and your families, and it has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Thank you for placing your trust in me throughout the years. While I hope I have made a positive difference in your lives, I want you to know that you have profoundly impacted mine.

Your resilience, kindness, courage, and personal stories have taught me invaluable lessons and have made me not only a better physician but also a better person. I am deeply grateful for the relationships we have built over the years. I will always remember you with great fondness, gratitude, and appreciation.

I have taken great care in identifying a cardiologist who is exceptionally well qualified to continue your care. I have every confidence in Dr. Kanwaljit Gill, who will continue caring for you and your families. Dr. Gill has served the Antelope Valley community for the past 30 years and will be pleased to provide for all of your cardiac care needs.

I am confident that you will continue to receive the excellent care you deserve, and I encourage you to maintain your regular appointments with the practice and your new healthcare provider.

Thank you once again for allowing me the privilege of being your physician. I wish you and your families continued health, happiness, and all the very best in the years ahead.

With sincere gratitude,
Shun Sunder MD
